BPR Mitra Bali Muktijaya Mandiri Marks 31st Anniversary by Sharing 10 Staple Food Packages and Stationery with Those in Need
Bangli – In celebration of its 31st anniversary, PT BPR Mitra Bali Muktijaya Mandiri once again demonstrated its care for others by providing staple food packages and books to residents who are ill and to orphaned children. The assistance was funded by contributions from the BPR’s employees, with the hope of easing the burden of those in need.
When met by Newsyess on Monday (July 17, 2023) at the BPR office on Jalan Raya Kayuambua, Susut, Bangli, the President Director of PT BPR Mitra Bali Muktijaya Mandiri, Dewa Ayu Eka Ariyanti, S.E., said this social initiative came from the employees themselves. “Our employees set aside part of their income for our brothers and sisters in need, in the form of staple food and stationery,” she said.
The assistance was directed to several people in need. “Sharing is very important and brings blessings. Earning money must be balanced with compassion for others,” she explained.
Going forward, the bank will continue this charitable initiative. “Not only at the office, but also by visiting the recipients directly at their homes,” she said.
As part of the anniversary celebration, the bank is also holding a Credit Festival with no administration fees during July–August. “We also held a thanksgiving prayer at Pura Ulun Danu Batur temple to honor the Goddess of Fertility, followed by a thanksgiving ceremony and a shared meal,” she explained.
A staple food package and notebooks were given to I Gede Mantra, a fatherless child who lives with his mother after his father passed away. Further packages were given to Ni Nengah Rema (70), an elderly resident suffering from a neck tumor, and Ni Nyoman Sumetri (75), an elderly resident who is ill. All three live in Banjar Dinas Sanggem, Sangkan Gunung Village, Sidemen District, Karangasem Regency. “We hope these staple food packages can ease the burden of those who are ill,” she said.
Looking ahead, the bank hopes to remain strong and close out 2023 successfully in line with its work plan. “We hope the people of Bangli will become smarter in choosing where to invest. We often hear that many people in Bangli fall victim to fraud. Therefore, choose a financial institution that is safe, guaranteed by the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), and supervised by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). If possible, entrust your funds to BPR Mitra Bali Muktijaya Mandiri,” she concluded.
