Newsyess Editorial Team Collaborates with BPR Mitra Bali Muktijaya Mandiri to Share Staple Food and SGM Milk with Baby Luh Meiyanti in Muncan Village, Karangasem

Karangasem – The Newsyess.com editorial team, under PT Sinar Mahardika Sentosa (PT SMS), in collaboration with PT BPR Mitra Bali Muktijaya Mandiri, Bangli, provided direct assistance in the form of a staple food package and SGM milk to baby Ni Luh Meiyanti (5 months old) and her father, I Wayan Darma (40), from Muncan Village, Selat District, Karangasem Regency.

Baby Ni Luh Meiyanti is currently being raised by her mother and father. Her father works as a manual laborer who does not find work every day, while her mother is not employed. The family lives in a very modest home in Muncan Village. The baby’s weight is well below that of other babies her age, and due to financial hardship, her parents cannot even afford to buy milk for her. Her father simply hopes that his daughter will grow and develop well and one day become a person who contributes to society. The visit by the Newsyess team, bringing a staple food package and SGM milk, is hoped to lift the family’s spirits.

The handover took place on Wednesday (October 25, 2023) and was delivered personally by the head of PT Sinar Mahardika Sentosa and Editor-in-Chief of Newsyess, Ngakan Putu Suardika, also known as Ngakan Yess, together with the Newsyess volunteer team. “We hope this staple food package and SGM milk will help little Ni Luh Meiyanti and Mr. Wayan Darma stay healthy, keep their spirits high, and be blessed with long lives,” he said.

Ngakan Yess said that happiness does not lie in how much wealth one has, but in having empathy for others and being willing to share with and help those who are struggling. No matter how small, whatever we give will mean a great deal.

“What matters most is our sincerity and compassion in sharing and helping others in need,” he said.

According to Ngakan, wealth, power, and position are only temporary. When we return to the Creator, we take nothing with us except the karma of our deeds during our lifetime. Therefore, we should not wait until we are rich to share. Instead, we should share as much as we can, because no one has ever become poor or bankrupt from being generous.

“As long as we are still able, and have been given health, opportunity, and long life, let us share what we can with others. Surely our lives will always be blessed with happiness, good health, fortune, and long life,” he explained.

The Newsyess editorial team will continue spreading kindness in the community, hoping its contributions can help ease the burden of those in need.

The Newsyess editorial team also expressed its gratitude to PT BPR Mitra Bali Muktijaya Mandiri, Kayuambua, Bangli, for its care for baby Ni Luh Meiyanti, as well as to all parties, especially financial institutions in Bali such as Village Credit Institutions (LPD), Rural Banks (BPR), the cooperative movement, and Bank BPD Bali, along with all sources and community leaders who have entrusted their news coverage to Newsyess.com.

The assistance was funded by setting aside 30 percent of Newsyess’s revenue from the publication fees paid by its news sources. “God willing, we ask for everyone’s support. Going forward, the Newsyess editorial team will continue to share and spread happiness. Please do not look at the value of what we give, but at the sincerity and compassion with which we help ease the burden of others,” he concluded.

No matter how small, any help we can give will mean a great deal to those in need.
